Our physicians are trained in internal medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesiology and pain management, cardiology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pathology, podiatry, and radiology.
Surgeons on staff at Lehigh Regional Medical Center include physicians trained in general surgery, orthopedic surgery, plastic surgery and reconstructive surgery. The Surgical Services Department houses three operating rooms, two endoscopy suites and a cystoscopy suite.
The Emergency Department at Lehigh Regional Medical Center features eight state-of-the-art treatment bays, all equipped for bedside registration. A board-certified emergency physician staffs the emergency department 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, Fast Track services are available for non-emergency “doctor-office” type care.
The Nurse First Program ensures that patients in our Emergency Department will be seen and evaluated by a nurse immediately upon arrival before any registration paperwork is done.
The hospital’s radiology department features state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, including a dual-head spiral CT scanner (computer tomography), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear medicine, digital fluoroscopy, cardiovascular ultrasound with capabilities for transesophageal echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms, and ultrasound.
